"HiTooler File Recover" FAQs

Can't find deleted files after scanning the disk?

After a file is deleted, the file system will set the space originally occupied by the file to free state, and when a new file is created, this space may be occupied. This causes the file to no longer be found by scanning.

Especially when the file is in the partition where the operating system is located, the operating system may frequently create and delete files in the background, causing the space of the deleted file to be occupied quickly.

Therefore, when you accidentally delete a file, please do not create files, install programs, etc. on this disk to avoid overwriting the space of the file that needs to be recovered. And install "HiTooler File Recover" on another disk as soon as possible to recover the deleted files.
